hey guys where can I get one of those Star Trek chicks, i want one too!

getting one of these in the mail next week:

Not to sound like a noob, but WTH is it?

it’s a middle-shelf analog modeling/wavetable rackmount synthesizer. imagine the sound of 20 mongolian chanting monks, if they were all robots, thats the noise I hope to produce with this machine. Or the sound a manatee would make when tossed into the grand canyon on a catapult. It has a few options.

Considering we were talking about the Borg a moment ago, I’ll just keep believing it’s a dorsal service panel implant.

id implant it :jizz:

Received this along with a booklet on how to organize big events (marketing/communication stuff) with the catchphrase “Inject some energy into your events”.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (2.83GHz)

Although I can’t fuckin’ make it work.

That’s pretty creepy.

why is the content of the syringe blood red if it’s meant to “inject energy” - do you work for vampires?

I had one of those pens. Not sure where it is now.

Kind of an old shirt, but since I took a picture of it for chat purposes, I might as well pop it in here.

Picking it up tomorrow:

Though an 8800gts in my folding node died. :frowning:

Ati graphics cards are better anyways. Nice choice.

That, and a 5870 is much, much, MUCH faster than an 8800 GTS.

The 5870 is not a replacement. It is for the gaming machine. The 8800GTS card is one of 3 I have in a folding node that only folds. So my folding performance is going to take a hit.
Unfortunately ATI cards are not so good at folding as nvidia cards.

My job will be suppling me with a new phone.

So, got myself a new, much needed desk.

Also can be seen is my new, kickass mousepad.

Posters arrived :3

DOUBLE POST BUMP BECAUSE THE FORUM DIDN’T ACKNOWLEDGE MY POST
