Pimp your...

Yeah they are 90’s re-prints but still they are awesome

gotta love simpsons comics

Yes, 2 30". A 3007WFP and a 3008WFP

Wrong, see above.

Although I rarely use them now. I stick to my 2408WFP because the 30" put a fuckton of strain on my eyes, and ever since I sold the multiple tens-of-thousands of dollars of hardware I used to have (older members will know what I’m talking about), I don’t really have a system that can run games at 5120x1600 resolution anymore.

Oh. My apologies, I just remember seeing one bigass monitor in that picture.

I have but a modest 19" LCD monitor. And my computer’s not even fast enough to play Half-Life at 1280x1024.

Nah, that’s my TV.

And I used to have some of the most outrageous shit you could imagine sitting in one big ass room.

One of my older posts on Gamernode. That was the kind of PC I would randomly order and build just to destroy in like a week. I believe I had a screenshot of me putting a QX6800 up to 5GHz on LN2 (liquid nitrogen).

Shit was fun but it got expensive.

Edit: And funnily enough the PC in those screenshots is the one I’m still using today.

Oh.

Lmao.

That’s the one I was looking for.

Good times.

I could use a computer like that.

Holy heck 1.7 GHz of overclocking? I can barely overclock 0.8 GHz.

Water/Liquid Nitrogen can do wonders.

My old roommate has a mutant CPU, when it’s at 2.6GHz stock, it’s performs terribly, but on fan cooling, he clocks it to 3.5GHz and it’s a beast, and one water he got it to 4.2GHz.

Both were very stable.

EDIT: Pimpin mah new Aviator sunnies and FPS Doug Headshot shirt.

Next is my processor, because GTA IV is kicking the shit out of it.
Thinking this one, but this one is a lot cheaper.

UNF UNF UNF

:jizz:

I only have 6,400,000 pixels with my setup =[

commits suicide

Aww my poor old 4.6million is so paltry. I really don’t see need for more though.
I had nothing but trouble with my old dell 30 inch.

My highest overclock is still that old E6300 which hit 3.5GHz from 1.86. After that was the E6600 @3.6GHz, then there is the Q6600 @3.4GHz, and then the Q9300 @3.2 ( I blame the bloodiron board for it’s poor results).

I only ever use air. Never saw much point to water with those results, and LN2 or phase change units are a bit impractical.

EDIT: Also bought one of these bad boys:

just got this today in the mail
its a lovely little tablet
heres the first drawing i did just to see how the tablet works and get used to it.

yes it looks like shit.

I could do with a decent graphics pad, my uni course pretty much demands it from second year onwards  I was thinking the cheapest one Wacom do :stuck_out_tongue:
.

that Wacom Bamboo MTE450 I got was only 55 bucks on amazon and is a very easy to use little drawing pad I fully recommend it.

Oh my god. You drew the head of my penis with a face on it…it…it’s staring at me…ahhhh!

You should see a doctor about that.

Cool, cheers Perky, I’ll keep it in mind.
.

I did this self portrait by mistake in MS Paint about eight years ago.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
