Achoo

odial’s animal avatar is pretty cute (I forgot their name lol)

They’re either crocodiles or alligators, both are pretty similar in appearance.

Hey guys. I have been following this site for a few months and thought I would read around before I joined (so I wouldn’t come across as an idiot).

Sweet pics by the way. This is my favorite one that I have taken. I took it in a secluded area in the Smoky Mountains.

I also didn't 'take' this picture... but I did create it in Photoshop, so I will also post it.

That sun thing was my ancient avatar.

Is it just me or that crocodiles humping on the door? :fffuuu:

Why would it be humping the door? Crocodiles and alligators don’t have sexual intercourse to reproduce, so they have no business humping anything.

And before you ask, they “grow”, much like carrots and potatoes. Basic principle is this: birds eat seeds of a certain type of plant (not sure which, but it’s something that grows in or near swamps). The thing with those seeds is that they have a parasitic relationship with the host (bird that eats it), the seeds slowly kill the bird from the inside. When the bird dies and falls on the ground, the seed tries to find a way to the ground, and digs itself in, so it can start growing.

After a week or 4-5, the seeds are fully grown and burst to reveal a “baby” croc/alligator (they’re already quite big at this point).

So the alligator (that’s what it is in that pic, not a croc) is just trying to get inside the house. Nothing dangerous, really, since they don’t know how doorknobs work, obviously.

PS: See this pic for a youngster leaving its seed:

lol

Crocodilia!

anyways, that looks like an alligator, based off the color and round mouth.

Bolteh, obviously you didn’t get the joke.

:awesome:

I obviously didn’t, you deceitful master of comedy.

Taken a couple days ago during me and my girl’s third anniversary.

Look kind of hot and cold there.

50 degrees Fahrenheit that day. Was really nice considering I had just come back from Lacrosse WI which was like -5f.

Salisbury (near Stonehenge), February 2008.

Not enough HDR in this thread!

Bomb shelter in an abandoned air-force base. That place was creepy.

Hello extremely foggy evening, can I take pictures of you? :3
