Oh shit guiz

how can anyone still prefer apple after the newest iphone 4s?

manufactured by FOXCONN - just buy an android and you can have the same engineering minus apple’s stupid requirements (micro sim, no sd card or battery cover)

iPad 2 CPU (who didn’t see this coming) - My HTC incS is overclockable to 1.92 Ghz and it runs qemu so fast that I can play Age of Empires on Win98 (with sound)

Perma-glued digitizer to LCD and no gorilla glass - your screen can crack and if it does, you need an LCD replacement even if the LCD is fine.

no 4g of any kind, seriously apple?

new pull-down menu in IOS5 (just like the android 1.0 pull-down menu)

voice commands? still a joke on both platforms.

Hold up there sersoft, you overclocked a phone?

Yeah and from 1ghz to almost twice the clock, I had to S-Off the bootloader and install a custom kernel that supports on the fly overclocking, 720p video playback IN FLASH and usb host to support usb hubs, keyboards, mice and flash drives, forget about all of those things if you’re going apple though.

Honestly, thats pretty damn awesome.

Although kinda unnecessary for a phone.

Its not unnecessary he can play Age of Empires.

His phone is probably too small to read the text.

the game runs pretty slow probably because DirectDraw is emulated in software in qemu(emuception), but the resolution is no problem because 640x480 fits perfectly into 800x480

I say in a few months at least one ARM device will be fast enough to run GoldSource games. It could be an iPhone, can’t rule anything out, but one thing is for sure, the progression of technology started speeding up after Android decided it doesn’t want to be #2.

Maybe those African kids should invent something useful and they’d be remembered.

I heard few days ago, one of the key contributors to the original Unix has passed away, he also contributed to the creation of the C code, apparently nobody noticed.

I noticed, I just didn’t make a thread.

Yeah, he was far more important than Jobs, yet got none of the credit. Such is life.

Someone noticed.

I’m Herman Cain and I approve this message.

even though it’s a comic, i think bill gates will be remembered more in the long run because of this.

I personally miss Dennis Ritchie much more, the true genius and the true inventor.

Bill reminds me of Stephen Hawking in that last picture.

You know I realized something yesterday? Steve Jobs gave us Pixar.

George Lucas started Pixar. But yeah, Jobs made it the company it is today.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
