Office Complex Elevator

Don’t worry Spycrabz, they are talking about Spycrabs with an s.

Yeah, I remember him. Total douchebag.

The elevator at the end of office complex does needed a change. My suggestion is when you begin to climb the original ladder you are on starts to break and when you climb to the top collapses.

That’s… a surprisingly good idea.

nice someone likes my idea.

I was also thinking that we would have to use the crowbar to open the door.

So like keep hitting the use button. And we have a nice little animation.

I’d have to disagree there.

You already open doors with it. You smash it’s window and then crawl through it.

Yeah your second suggestion is less commendable.

He meant have an animation where you pry the door open.

Not Half-Life’s style though.

I’m tired of things just breaking in games as a cheap way of making sure you can’t go back the way you came. It’s overused, and not only does it look far too contrived and obvious, but it simply wouldn’t happen in real life.

also I have seen they did something simmilar of what I said in my first suggestion in Oppossing force when you were on a elelvator you saw a HECU grunt up there and then a lot of vortigaunts teleported outnumbering him and killing him before you could get up there.

Good grenade placement will save those soldiers

[COLOR=‘Black’]Or kill them depending on your motives

LoL with that wich ya put on black before and I didn’t really know that of the grenade thnx

How about the Guard just looks over the edge of the shaft and says “Phew, actually i think ill sit this one out, you go right ahead, ill wait for some more folks to come by.”
We dont need to make it uber complicated, if its a huge gap its completley reasonable a security guard in all his equipment IE vest, gun, ammo, and helmet would sit out a 14 foot gap lol

Wow, what a bump :hmph:

Also, that’s been suggested IIRC.

I think what Valve did in oppossing force ‘‘elevator’’ could still be done in black mesa, as a script animation. I used noclip in Op. Force and throwed some machine gun alt fire grenades and I killed the Alien slaves but the soldier did the diying animation so, yeah, my ‘‘suggestion’’ can still be done.

That wasn’t Valve, that was Gearbo-

-Oh wait, this explains a lot

Because Gordon doesn’t carry anything with him.

Gordon’s performance doesn’t decrease with the weight he carries.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
