Good times.
Good times.
You can take your carriage and turn it the fuck around, Bionicles kicked fucking ass.
Great fucking design. One of my many influences to this day.
Bionicles were just a shitty anime spinoff of the Lego Technic driver.
I mean, what can you even build with them?
you can build awesome
I don’t care if these have been posted already
oh god, how could I have forgotten about RE3? Game Rocked. it was also the first time I had ever been afraid of a video game (I was Eight years old and not very well acquainted with the Horror genre)
An alien queen apparently.
And where the fuck are you getting anime from? I understand that a lot of people here hate it, but there’s a whole nother level of dumbass when you start calling shit what it isn’t.
There were CG movies based on the toyline, as well as comics that came with each toy. I think THAT is what he’s bitching about.
And the way everything has random wings popping out of it for no reason other than to appeal to seven-year-olds.
Too much Red Bull
well, how else would a bunch of danish building toy designers make something made out of machine parts look organic? The entire toy line (and its successor, Hero Factory)was created to give use for Technic pieces that had few uses in complex machines like forklifts, Trucks with suspensions and gearing, cranes, etc. Just so happened it was so popular, Lego went ahead and gave it a story.
Original few tiers of Bionicle were mostly technic and recycled throwbot components. I have the original Tahu and the remastered one. The new one has only 16 pieces, all molded ball-and socket limbs and plates.
Glad they stopped before the line turned into Galidor 2.
Speaking of Technic, I had the Jeep/dune buggy set. I wanted the motor for it so bad, but my Mom wouldn’t get it for me
I still have the original Unreal
I still have a collection of Indiana Jones Lego sets
I still remember the first episode of the Flinstones (kinda fuzzy though)
I still have the original Doom, and IT STILL WORKS
I have a gameboy colour and I have had it since day 1.
Played the first Mario the day it came out Still have it, but I’m not sure if it works…
I have had a NES since FORVER and it still works.
(the NES version)
I HAVE THAT TOO!!! damn i feel old…
Ahahahahahaha
I saw an episode or two way back when, visiting my uncle, aunt and cousins.
A year or two ago I saw star ship troopers and was like “Hey, I saw an animated version of this forever ago” and everyone was like “No you didn’t.”
