Mac VS. PC V3

I have 2 ipods with non-apple firmware (rockbox) and no trace of apple software to be found.

they play mp3 files from actual folders with album names, and no shitty half-assed DRM. how nifty is that

i don’t care what kind of computer people use. i’ve owned a couple of ipods over the years. my sister has a macbook. i don’t mind windows. my gaming PC runs linux (lol). it’s a fact that macs are overly expensive considering the hardware that’s in them, but i’m not going to get on anyone’s ass about it.

i think there’s more to being genuine than what kind of computer you use, and that seems to be the big problem people find with using a certain type of computer. brand loyalty is dumb, but there’s a lot more to people than that.

no drm because im a pirate

but they don’t have proper file names or folders you know, for copying songs to another computer, that’s a form of digital rights management, and not in your favor

wat r u talking about

are you guys really replying to a thread made by swampfox

i mean really

we’ve been over this before

wait

yeah…

I only reply to his threads if the subject of conversation is not related to the topic

iTunes has been DRM-free since 2008 or 2009, that’s (part of) the reason why some artists (like the Beatles before the deal) refuse to sell their music through iTunes.

And about your folder theory. This here is a screenshot of my music on my PC at work. I ripped this music straight from my iPod, and call me batshit crazy, but those folders and file names are pretty clear, if not logical.

my music looks like that while it’s on the ipod, I know you can use software to rip the music and use the id3 tags for the file names but I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SAME THING

That’s the music on that HD coming straight from my iPod through iTunes without any third party software or plugin (yes, that’s what I consider ripping).

And what party do itunes belong to?

there ain’t no party like an itunes party, cos an itunes party don’t stop.

what is this… i dont even… why would… cant we … everyone sheesh! REALLY?
