Exactly. Factory-farmed animals are basically living in the excement of the thousands of other animals that are crate-stacked on top of them. So they need to be fed a constant stream of antibiotics and other chemicals just to keep them alive in that disease-ridden environment. It’s actually quite disgusting.
If we actually weren’t supposed to eat animals…why are they made out of food then?

Anyway, I’ve been a vegetarian for a while for a few reasons. Firstly becasue my parents are, and I grew up with it, but its mostly the health benefits, low fat diet etc etc.
And it’s fucking cheap man. Vegetarian meat subsitute fillets are like three times cheaper than a pack of chicken filllets at my supermarket.
Wouldn’t call myself a vegetarian just yet, but I’ve stopped eating meat and fish a month ago and I can’t say I’ve missed it. The alternatives are tasty as well, and like Haze said, it’s a fuckton cheaper.
From my experience with vegetarian girls I can only say that they are wild beasts in bed (and other places, too), have a greater appetite for sex and much less inhibitions than non-vegetarians.
But my experience is limited, and thus not representative.

It annoys me when vegetarians or vegans claim it is unnatural for us to eat meat. That we are, indeed, supposed to be herbivores.
If this were true, I eating meat would be taboo in our society, but it isn’t, it’s almost ASSUMED you eat meat. Not to mention there is not one culture – NOT ONE – that forgoes eating meat. Even uncontacted tribes in South America and the like eat meat.
And I wouldn’t find steak juicy and delicious. Sociology proves that these people are bullshit.
We are omnivores, if we were herbivores then our stomachs wouldn’t digest meat. I don’t think that is an argument the give often, maybe stupid ones. The argument I hear most is it is funding the mass slaughter and torture of animals. E.g. chickens kept in large containers which never see daylight and shit on each-other.
