It doesn’t require any modification to code at all. It’s the same way CS: Source skins work.

I honestly dont care what model they end up using as long as it comes out realitivly soon but not too soon that there r still major problems cause theve done good so far but i will say it would be nice to have the option of the diffrent modles tho…

I don’t know about the model, but im not playing it til i download an mp5 sound from fpsbanana, cuz i heard the original, and it SUCKS

Are you referring to the ORIGINAL mp5 sound or the “original” BM MP5 sound? Because they’re different…

I don’t think you’ve ever heard the BM MP5 fire sound the way it’s normally played, the one in the trailer is slowed down.

well again as stated alot in this thread this is an opinion but I would rather see the Marines of the OpFor using the M4 and not an MP5 it just wouldn’t make sense to me, honestly from what I know of marines their only automatic weapons (excluding the SAW mind you) are the M4 series and M16 series, never the MP5… small gripe could always download something and put it in its place I suppose

The M16 (M16A4 to be exact) used by the Marines isn’t automatic.

Come to think of it, the M4 isn’t automatic either. The M4A1 is though.

Hmm, I only made this thread because at the time they were still using the old MP5 model, and I preferred the M4 one.

Ever since I saw the new MP5 I could care less about the old ones :smiley:

But if they were to leave the M4 in it would still be nice I suppose, I just love it when there’s unused assets in mah game!

All they did was remove the laser-sight.

There will be M4s and M16s and Nude Alyx skins to replace the Mp5, I’m sure.
Just like there will be beretta skins and USPs for the Glock.
