Korean Conflict

As far as I know, the internet network, at least in the USA, was designed to withstand a nuclear attack as its original purpose was to keep people connected in case of the Russians sending their nukes.

I don’t see how they could make it withstand EMP.

The Internet is a concept, a plan of a network. DARPA-style.

Pretty much all of the hardware isn’t meant to be resilient to nuclear blasts, they’re expected to be knocked out… the purpose is to allow dead nodes to be worked around.

Yeah, but when a couple of nuclear bombs go off, I don’t think there’ll be much left for anything to be worked around.

Perhaps, but they’ll still be something. The government probably has protected nodes.

I was under the impression that given the right padding or shielding, an electronic device could withstand an EMP. If this is true I would think that it would be extremely stupid for the Government not to have at least some internal network or whatever protected. I don’t know much about how the internet works on a fundamental level so if any of this doesn’t make sense or just sounds dumb, forgive me :retard:

technocrat said the same way about things happened when the war was begun.

First, two countries who have no good relation would start some crimes to eachother.
Then they were gonna look for their allies.
If one of those two sides, or in the worst case, both side, has their own nuke, they were planning to launch a nuke to a little country belong to the other side, so the war’s begin.
Bunch of 'lil nukes were launch repeatedly so that the sky turn to the red one.
Nuclear dust were now cover the rest of the world. That is fucking worse than the globe warming; things were cooled down because a lack of sunlight for a century.

wtf are you talking about
