Installation/predownload Idea

It’s a joke.

Or so.

no, dead serious

I dont think its a joke, he probably forgot to say its in Valve time.

… no
and even then it would be a joke

(btw, not talking about raminator’s post, which wasn’t implying in any way, joke or no, that it would be released in a few hours)

Ram’s post was implying that after 6 years of waiting, another few hours to download it isn’t much. NOT that after 6 years of waiting, it will be released in a few hours

You guys obviously haven’t been on steam chat in the last 48 hours.

A leak it is not, just encrypt it with an industrial grade algorithm and 2048 bit key.
What could this possibly help with i don’t know. It’s not like the mod is ready and waiting for a ceremony.

I wonder if the servers would be strong enough to stand all the downloads at X day, or, on the other hand, if there would be any spike of downloads.

After all most of the fans would be on the far sides of their orbits, checking the place every year or so. By the time everyone catches up there would be plenty of seeds.

Some explosive community wander here, clutching at any combination of words that have potential meanings.

i’ve never been on steam chat

Neither have I

What is this thing you call steam chat.

You don’t need to know anything about it ever.

What? Why do you say that? :freeman:

Because steam chat is where the people who are up to date on the black mesa happenings are.

I can’t imagine you saying that with a straight face.

Hum. Well, after quoting those people saying that it was a joke that it would come out in a few hours, you said that they must have not been on Steam Chat, which seemed to imply that it would in fact come out in a few hours.

Or maybe I’m over analyzing it. Or being trolled. Which is it? :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re overthinking it. It would be pretty obvious to anyone if the mod had been released.

Well, not released yet, but soon.

You’re probably right anyways.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
