There is actually a book full of short stories about different Star Wars mercs that has a chapter about Boba Fett getting away from the Sarlacc. I don’t know which came first, but I read that story, it probably would have been more fun reading the comic.
All I remember is, Boba came back at the end and burned the inside of the Sarlacc with his ship’s engines.
