How's this for indie dubstep?

Tell me what you think! This is my 40th song, And I think it’s my best work ever. It’s free to download, (because I’m a nice guy) and I’ve put in somewhere around 30 to 40 hours to develop the song from scratch (like the rest of my music). If you wan’t more then subscribe, and all I ask for downloading is to like the song. I don’t make a penny off my music and it’s purely for enjoyment, so please don’t be the a$$hole who dislikes it for no fcking reason. Thanks :wink:

Enjoy!

Drums need to be way louder and a bit more varied maybe, and it needs a strong bassline throughout to keep the song together.

Other than that, pretty good!

the bassline is missing and it’s a different kind of *step.(brostep maybe?)

It all depends on the way you view it. Brostep has more high pitched basses and screeches like skrillex’s music, and Traditional dubstep is lower sub-bass with less craziness.

Not bad, but I wouldn’t call it dubstep. It usually has a slower beat, and I couldn’t hear any bass, but that might just be my headphones. Running a saw wave through a LFO doesn’t make it dubstep either. But overall not a bad song.

def needs more wubs :wink:

in all seriousness it’s not bad but the leveling on the drums seems higher than the rest of the song so all I notice is the drum beats.

i would describe this as drumstep.
it sounds nice, just tone down on the compression on the kick and snare, it kinda drowns in the rest of the sounds. otherwise a great production =)

The voice kinda sounds awkward. It kinda sounds like a robot saying “kill me” on repeat.

Get some proper dubstep in yah!
