By using a term that’s become famous to us gringos, and drawing attention to the selected language (which had so far been ignored), “Forward in Spanish” was able to keep me from being confused as a native speaker.

Indicator that TV lies. “¡Arrrribaa!” means “up”, not “forward”. If you wanted to say “forward”, you should have used “adelante”. But I guess there is no way for you to know, seeing that you don’t seem to know much Spanish. It’s a shame, though, that you are holding on to a wrong sentence in Spanish to avoid confusion. But, I repeat, no offense meant, I blame TV :stuck_out_tongue: (and I am paraphrasing your post, this is not a personal attack).

Also, there’s no need to refer as yourself as gringo. That’s heavily offensive, you know.
