Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

raw_bean, this is your cue:

Soup, you stole my sig quote! I challenge you to a duel!

I wouldn’t say easy. It’s a bit more complicated than pointing it to the most recent save. It’s certainly doable though.

I got it on the day he said it, fool.

Can this please be the new sound of the anti mass spectrometer:

That’s actually pretty cool, but I’m sure the devs have made a better one. I hope.
But wow, that’s pretty awesome. The second sound did sound a lot like the anti mass spectrometer from HL1.

They may have MADE a better one, but this is disturbingly authentic =P

Edit: I can’t stop laughing at your sig, omg…

True yeah, and :3

I think they sound a bit too magical, but I agree with λdam that the second one sounds very similar to the antimass-spectrometer in Half-Life.

Can’t we snuck in the sound of a dialing modem somewhere in the mod?

Oh the nostalgia!

YES…this sound is pure :jizz:, please do it!!

That would be pretty damn awesome.

That sound should appear in the lobby where you meet the security guard at the computer trying to connect to the internet. :3

“Hey Mr. Freeman, I had a bunch of messages for you but we were disconnected about 20 minutes ago and I’m still trying to establish the connection.”

I jizzed when I heard that sound. USE IT!!!

:3

If the devs do decide it’s a possibility, then great, but if they say no, I’m sure it’s only because they have a better one. :awesome:
Does anyone have a download to that audio by the way? For some reason I can’t download it.

But that’s what most “Continue Game” buttons do, just load the most recent save.

The fact that the HL1 spectrometer closely resembles this makes me wonder if Valve knows a bit more about quantum physics than they let on.

Same, I’ve always been interested that Valve actually knew a lot about Science, especially on the quantum physics side of things.
But I don’t think they discovered the “God Particle” though. :3

Well…

And nothing about ventilation.

I never said they were rocket scientists.

That sound gives me a headache.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
