ye and your argument is? “is not liquid coz tau means energy” , of course exterior energy is needed to gather all that pressure from a few spins
Before posting, try to read tau cannon/gauss gun in wikipedia or combine wiki…
Just accept it man, you are wrong. It is a Tau Cannon, it doesn’t shoot liquid, it shoots tau particles. It doesn’t pressurize any liquids, in fact it is impossible to compress liquid. And if it would be liquid that was fired from the tau cannon, which it is not, the trajectory would be ballistic, not a stairght line like it is.
Why would you need pressure in a energy weapon? That’s right, you don’t! It isn’t pressurizing anything it is accelerating particles by magnets and magic. =P
Why does the wall impact look like it does? Ever heard of a photon? Photon is a subatomic particle just like tau. Photon is what the light is made of and what do you know, light reflects from walls.
And you recall wrong. Now STFU and GTFO my internets!
[Rage mode off.]
Both gauss and tau refer to energy weapons (more or less)
And yes, spinning that thing requires energy, but a LOT less than plutonium provides.
ye i just did , those models look nothing like this one , at what point of physics does energy excludes liquid , and why when you second’click it keeps pumping pressure and if the pressure stops pumping it all bursts out , is that a propriety of …what? , ye , highly compressed liquid makes a little sense that way
if when hitting the wall it destabilizises [fuck my english ok?] why is affected by gravity so fast , atoms that destabilise tend to follow the trajectory of the mini-explosion that is generated , but the purple particles just fall down to ground
as far as the trajectory goes , it’s the hl1 engine , all it can do is lines , furthermore , it has no reason to not be a straight line considering the image of pressure i refer to , much more then you could reproduce in your kitchen
to the guy above me , not the spinning itself that requires the energy but the energy is pumped throuth the rubber-covered-with-possibly-kevlar-wiring from the black mesa above into the core of it for advanced faster pressure then using oxygen placement
this may be useful for people who have imagination

Then why did they make it do trajectory-less lines in HL2? And use a texture clearly labeled “laser” or “beam”? (I can’t quite remember which.)
This is hilarious. iKy, your great at this self-depretiating humour, aren’t you. You funny, funny guy.
.
Hay guise chek out mi nu wepon, it am called tow cannin
Damnit, I laughed so hard I think I busted a lung. Thank you very much :’(
Just want to throw this out so I can nail the coffin or whatever:
Taus (Or tauons as they call them sometimes) CAN NOT be liquid. They are subatomic particles, (leptons to be precise), and only atoms take on solid, liquid, or gas form.
NOW LET IT DIE.
Check please.
I used to have a squirt gun exactly like that.
I think you are retarded for even suggesting that the tau cannon shoots liquid. If it did shoot liquid it would have to be hot magma in order for it to be that color. I am not an expert but nothing on that tau cannon appears to be able to contain magma. Also the reason it makes the spot on the wall when it hits it is be cause it has super heated the wall and now it is glowing hot. At least thats my explination behind it.
OMG! I have that same mug in your signature. I use it for tea though, I don’t like coffee.
It be funny with all the technology Black Mesa has, they spend their resources on making a prototype squirt gun. Now we’r gonna have “Black Mesa: Kid Edition”.
Hurr Hurr
yee it seems all your arguments revolve around my grammar and retardness [ of yours of course ] , i will further this when i come back to school ,
also
[how the fuck can english be my first language , you like , retarded? ] [gets 2 warns for this post]
The purpose of this mod is not to make it look exactly like HL1. There wouldn’t be much point in that.
For want of better words, the new ‘eyes’ are perfectly fine compared to the old ones, except they’re 3D now because of sourcey goodness, and the ‘eyelid’ actually blinks, so it makes sense for it to look big and rolled up when the eye is open. I honestly can’t see anything wrong with that model, it looks great.
Should they also change the texture resolution?

Our arguments revolve around a thing called logic, actually. The comments about your grammar and ‘retardness’ are just entertaining little tangents.

She said “English better not be your first, second or third language.”
I dare iKy to play HL2 and see the Tau Cannon in action on the buggy and still keep up this ridiculous ‘liquid’ nonsense.
[COLOR=‘Red’]But otherwise, let’s just drop it, okay?
no , you like to thing that what you are saying is logic , in fact it’s just religion to me , "it’s as it is because it’s how it is " no imagination no free thinking no interpretation no nada , also , the cannon in hl2 it’s not really the same and doesn’t behave the same either , it makes sense to me to modify the weapons in time to make them more realistic , but in the first hl1 , they ware aiming at supercharged liquid , probably with that tau energy of yours , maybe that’s what they use for pressure , but doesn’t really explain why it bounces , also , i will get a worn but , i will stop this rant of mine [duh] because i’il clasify most of you as not-thinking-retards , and any attept to smack sense into you would be waste in energy that could be used in stopping global hunger …
