[COLOR=‘White’]Quoting out-of-context sure is fun.
uh sorry . i’ve been operated [is that the correct word to use?] recently to my leg to remove… something ? that grew on the bone and i could walk with my muscles cut in half , so i put myself in his place , but hell . why not carry his ass around the complex? -----------------------------
i understood now , thank you
Um yeah you try carrying someone around while trying to get away from aliens.
And special forces soldiers and crazed crowbar maniacs.
yeah but at that point they didn’t know about the SF guys…maybe only the crazed crowbar maniacs.
But the crazed crowbar maniacs don’t get their crowbars until after they leave the poor scientists behind.
If I remember correctly, Ram said a while back that this is actually already implemented
The glowing-in-the-dark part is implemented, but the other thing, though… haven’t heard of it from devs.
I believe that iKy thinks Ely has always been missing a leg… That might be where the problem is.
after you’ve seen that scientist on xen , you start to wonder …
Surely Eli DOES carry/help Kleiner out of the facility at some point, hence their appearance in HL2.
However at the point in time in question he specifically states “I’m afraid to move him…” due to his (unspecified) injuries. Presumably at some point later it turns out that Kleiner wasn’t as badly hurt as Eli was worried at first. Anyway, he tells you straight up why he’s staying there and sending you to fetch help, so this whole discussion was pointless.
Exactly!
He was never on xen.
What scientist? OP4 is not canon, for dipppies.
in hl1 there is a scientist on a rock on xen
OP4.
What the duce!?!?!? How the hell did he get there? I mean with no hazard suit at all? Thats amazing!
As I remember, the prevailing theory is a random teleport, just like the ones that brought the vorts etc to Black Mesa.
