They are just the same.
The hair is a little… dissapointing, I might say. It’d be great for him to be just like in the “Popular Science” magazine he has on his lab board. Not for canonical issues, just because it looks great.

IDK. I think that would be cool (That is you shoot the ground), since it happens some times when I airsoft, so to me it would add to the reality.

The only problem I have is with how flat his hair looks.
yeah, maybe a little wispy thing like mossman’s bangs would fit him better. It looks like it was painted on the head of a bowling pin.

But yeah, he could use some 3D, mask-textured hair polygons for his bangs, like Mossman had, or like the back of Alyx’s hair.
Also his Batman-jaw makes him look like a Team Fortress 2 character.

i know this is probably not going to be on the mod but what the hell.
You see the shotgun but before you can reach a security guard picks it up.He is out of his mind. He points the gun at you. He orders you to follow him. Few seconds later, he is killed by an explosion and you pick up the shotgun. Just an idea!
Also i agree that we should see marines being butchered to show how much the world is fucked up (i forgot who posted this)
It is a nice story, except for the explosion part. He should not be killed, he should make you go with him (and, if you shoot him, he shoots at the same time). If you don’t kill him, you follow him for a while, a bunch of grunts show up and he helps you (or you help him, whatever) to kill them. After that, he says “Sorry, I thought you were with them.”
An alternative would be that he comes from behind and says he will shoot you if you turn around.
I also know they won’t do it, but it would add suspense to the game

It’s just a bad idea, even without that line. The whole point of Half Life 1 is that you are the one guy who can plow through the facility and get shit done: having people on your own side go mental and string you along at gun point is way too much of a departure from that.
I’d like to see a couple scientists carrying clipboards, or doing science-type thigs, maybe in some rooms off the side.
Working with microscopes, fancy lab equipment… basically making themselves look useful.
Unless everyone’s on a sector-wide lunchbreak at the time of the RC. Which is possible, but not nearly as cool as science.
Actually they DO science in Black Mesa. Just watch the official trailer from 00:26 to 00: 33 and you’ll see them exactly in the way you want.
