Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Well of course their humans, But they where heavily trained, mentally and more notably physically. The only real difference one would notice, though, is that their body would probably be more resiliant to gunfire and the mutation process itself, allowing them to move faster, and be tougher. I dont think that the black mesa team should bother, though, Just a cosmetic difference is fine.

So soldiers are resilient to gunfire and alien creatures? I think not.

The only reason Zombine were able to run was because of soldier’s mechanical enhancements. Hell, Zombie Combine Soldiers aren’t even entirely dead, and the mechanical part of them is still struggling to do their jobs the best they can. That’s why they are heard on the radio saying “Biotics… Overrun…” and “Sector… Not Secure…”. The Human Soldiers have no mechanical enhancements, and therefore will just become regular zombies.

Yeah I resist bullets and mutation…cause I’m like, super human…I also shoot lazers out my ass and shoot acid out my nipples.

I think I have some more ideas for HECU abilities.

Oh, I got it now, so that’s how those zombies know how to use a grenade and what a grenade does…

Human zombies don’t seem to be entirely dead either… just without motor control of their limbs.

Then again, nobody really knows for sure.

They know it’s a thing, and they run at you with it. I presume to beat your skull in with it. That’s what I’d do with a weird little canister thing if my brain’s been et.

But they don’t, they just use them suicidally as clubs.

Resilient=/=Impervious

I suppose that means we won’t be seeing headcrab zombie soldiers. :frowning:

Well, they’re not dead. They’re painfully aware of being slaves in their own bodies and having a stinging, gaping open chest. The combine can pull out grenades because their brains are part computer, and the crabs can’t control that.

I just though the headcrab decided to grab onto it as a rudimentary weapon, just as they hurl barrels and boxes at you.

Same, seeing as they don’t attempt to toss it or anything. All they do is try to hit you with it.

In the Zombie’s (or Headcrab’s) Mind, he just found a hard block that he can hit you with. He doesn’t realise that it’s an explosive device and yanking it off the belt will activate it.

no shit :hmph:

They do mumble “bouncer” and “extractor” (Combine terms for grenades) when they pull them out, though, so they probably do have some idea what they’re doing.

I don’t remember of the zombines trying to hit me with the grenades. I think they’re pretty sure of what it is and what it does, because they aren’t entirely dead like said before, they even say words that the combines normally say.

This is irrelevant, zombines are not going to be in Black Mesa. However, I believe that because of the combine soldiers being a human altered through tech and whatever else they used to turn them into what they are, that their brains are not completely flesh. That is to say that they might have implanted some computer circuitry into the brain in order to speed up or cause the combine soldiers to have correct responses to certain situations. So, because the headcrabs only affect organic tissue they are unable to override the computers instinctual behaviors. Thus when the computer tells the implants in the legs to run the zombine runs. When the computer tells the zombine to pull out a grenade and pull the pin it does so. I guess it doesn’t tell it to throw the grenade because it relies on the human portion of the brain for aiming.

Well how about if some of the headcrabs could actually jump on gordons face and try to turn him into a zombie? This could result to some sort of hand whip and blurred eye vison for a while. Share some thoughts.
