It’s just really concentrated blood spray.
Correct, but the idea was that the model’s heads would actually implode in the mod, the pic being there for an illustrated example. It IS just a huge blood splatter from a shotgun blast though.
look and tell me where do you see slave colars?
You know, the game is not finished yet.
You should rather check this.
damn i just wanted to help…and i was told that there would be slave collars i dont need to know if there are slave colars on those pictures or not thought i cant see any of them on those pictures…
Yes there will be slave collars.
Whatcha talkin’ abou’ foo’!! :3
A, its hard to tell from those pictures because they are so small.
B, if there aren’t slave collars on some of the vorts in a screen shot it’s probably a place holder.
This pic is outdated.
I’m confused too.
I don’t think half the people here even properly understand what the word ‘implode’ means, I think they believe it’s just a cool synonym for explode.
[COLOR=‘Red’]EDIT: posts about hgrunt camo and weapons moved to the ‘Update the Marines’ thread.
Implode is the opposite of explode… Common sense.
Ouch either way.
It looks like it’s imploding to me… SO THERE.
Surely a head could only implode if it was hollow, and had some kind of extreme vacuum pulling the skull inwards. In which case, there wouldn’t be blood exploding outwards from the head as there was in that screenshot…SO THERE.
I dunno, seems like there’s a lot of hollow heads around these parts
Zing!
i would like to see more wildlife on xen and maybe some “cut” creatures like the chumtoad and pantereye’s,
also some creatures should be able to jump to an platform
another idea would be making differend zombies like guard/soldier zombie
There will be no new enemies. “Cut” creatures have been mentioned as a possibility but it’s very unlikely. There will, however, be guard and soldier zombies (which will act exactly like normal zombies). There is a render of the guard zombie in the ‘media’ section on the main site.
Ah, bean, you totally represent the logic crew.
Helpful as always. ^ What he said.
One of the biggest problems with Xen is the platforming elements, the biggest problem is probably players missing the platforms. I was thinking that maybe the long-jump module could be steerable in the air (with the mouse) to help with aiming for the moving platforms, although this would make shooting while jumping difficult, and probably wouldn’t work in deathmatch.
