Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Sun: possible… would be cool with some HDR effects.
Wind: Not gonna happen because of the helicopters and gunshots. (The wind can be there, but it has no point because you can’t hear it)

  1. Never do we encounter nurses of any kind in Half-Life.

  2. It just wouldn’t fit in the mod. This isn’t meant to be something for you to pitch a tent over (and I’m talking about your “healthy” nurses).

So according to your logic, we could just as well have a cat as a player model, because surely there must have been cats somewhere in Black Mesa, the dormitories perhaps.

Sure, and you won’t get banned for being an arse.
If you want a player model like that, make it yourself. The devs won’t.

Is this the part where I’m supposed to care?

End of the day, Chevelle19V hit the nail on the head. The model is unrelated to Half-Life.

You can’t just come here and start requesting things from the dev’s that don’t belong to Half-Life. This mod is a recreation of the original Half-Life and there is no random things in it! If you wan’t some cool player models and such stuff there are plenty of other mods that aren’t recreating old games and are making entirely new things. Long discussion made short: You’re wrong!

well, that was kind of amusing.

pyramid head in black mesa would be f***ing awesome. :awesome:

i would so much rather fight a 10 foot tall psycho with a pyramid cage on his head and an enormous meat cleaver than some gay baby

cute.

I was just following your logic, mate, so it would seem that you’re the stupid fuck around here (seriously, whats with the censoring?).
But I can find a better example for you if that’s what you want.
We know that there are babies in Black Mesa (Alyx, for example),
so why shouldn’t we be able to play as babies in the multiplayer part?
Once again, it is well within the criteria you set for multiplayer models.

And seriously, cut down on the internet tough-guy attitude, makes you look like a pussy.

Edit:

Retard suggestions from retarded people, makes sense. Also, judging from your responses, you should be the one in kindergarten.

Yes they were. Gina was the Hazard Course lady and the robot replaced the Hgrunt in the German censored version.

It’s odd that your writing is accomplished but your content is that of an insecure, retarded ten year-old.

What an entrance to the forums.

Who are you referring to?

I would have though that was pretty obvious, since Wolfguard’s the only newbie to recently post in this thread.

Wolfguard, not only do I disagree with you, but you’re idea of a nurse it pretty outdated. Nurses don’t dress like that anymore (and I’m talking about the normal dress they wore, not the sexified version), they wear Scrubs now.

Like this:

Love that show.

He’s been registered on this iteration of the forum since May 4th, so I hardly considered that post just then an ‘entrance to the forums.’

Whatever, it’s the first time I’ve seen him post. Regardless of his join date, he was the only person kicking up a fuss as well.

Why the nit-picking?

People have been attacking you because you flew off the hook the minute someone pointed out that your idea was retarded.

Chrillen’s point was that your logic is thus: nurses were probably in the facility, therefore we should be able to play as one. He stated that there were definitely babies there (Alyx), so by your logic we should play as one.

Also, while Half Life was never meant to reflect reality it was never meant to be Hollywood. There’s a reason that Alyx and Mossman don’t have their tits out.

Yeah I don’t think we misunderstand your suggestion, you want a nurse with jigglebone tits as a multiplayer model. Kinda sounds like something a 15 year old would suggest and as much as you claim it’s for variety, I think you just wanna fap to it. As for you “wrath”, needs more intelligence and less mom jokes. Also the internet is not a place for you to be if you’re gonna throw a hissy fit when people think your ideas suck.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
