It’d be interesting if there were bits of Black Mesa’s architecture poking up through the floor in Xen - similar to Hell in Doom, where it was fused with modern technology.

your right. all sorts of stuff has been teleported from xen to earth, (aliens, aliens, some xen foliage, and more aliens) so why shouldnt stuff from black mesa be teleported to xen?

Let’s not forget; Gabe’s favorite game of all time is Mario 64.

EDIT: Platform style gameplay (e.g. jumping puzzles and the like) can be done properly, and be fun. Xen is defined by that kind of movement and exploration, even if the particular implementation in Half Life was irritating. In my opinion, that kind of gameplay should be preserved as best as possible.

I never really cared too much about the platforming element in the first place. In fact, I didn’t even notice it until I registered here.
