Formula 1 Thread

Webber and Alonso go off in Suzuka, hamilton 2nd, Vettel 3rd, Button wins.
Result:
Button 202
Webber 202
Hamillton 200
Vettel 196
Alonso 191

Man, if not for this punk Vettel, Button would have 195 now with Webber 202.
I’m beginning to hate this german motherfucker

That can happen next year, this year Webber should win, lord knows he deservers it.

He’s just hurrying them up, I doubt he’d stop it from going ahead. Would lose money.

I would just like to see Webber and Button fighting for t3h title this year. Let the best one wins.
Plus Button looks very good for Suzuka.

Also, Korea would lose money, not Bernie.
Bernie could not care less anyway.

Wouldn’t he lose money from lack of TV viewership and what not?

Mostly the tracks are the ones that lose money from that.

Okay WTF. Button Monza’s dented rearwing endplate and diffuser.

As I never seen this before, I have now fully realized that Alonso is just a huge homo and such a fucking lucker to pinch out such a huge bit. I wonder how much seconds it costed Jenson in the race. And Alonso’s front wing had not had even a scratch.
I’d be damned if Justice is not going to intervene in Suzuka for Jenson. First Vettel, than Alonso. And this is the guy who did not make any mistakes this season.

I’d love for button to take the title this year.

Siggs, you’ve got your inbox full, so I’ll reply here:

Wow.
Alonso fanboys really ARE fucking stupid.

HAHAHAHAHAhAHAHA
AHAHAHAHAHAH

OH AHAHAHAHAAHAH

Such a fucking hypocrite. I hope Alonso crashes in all 4 races and massa ends up ahead.
p.S. But oh wait.
I’ve read some other articles, and it looks like Montezemolo didn’t even want Alonso. It was Santander and that fat fuck Domenicali who pushed the idea. I hope Domenicali fails and retires in 2011 - he’s no fucking match for Ross.

I had no opinion on stefeno until the team orders scandel. The way he handled it made me want to punch him.

I just love how every Hamiltonfag and every Alonsofag is writing Button off now. They always do that.

  • In his early career, everyone said he’d never win a race… until he won wet Hungary in 2006.
  • When he clinched the first half of 2009 and Ross halted the upgrades for the second half - everyone was “oooh oh he tightened up”. He the proceeded to win the WDC and WCC from 14th place in Brazil.
  • When he made probably the most gutsiest move in F1 this year - they all were “Hurr Durr HAMILTON GONNA DOMINATE HIM HE’S SECOND RATE”. Never happened.
  • When he won at Australia and China, taking the leadership in McLaren garage, those same Hamilton fanboys were screaming “BUTTON WAS LUCKY”
  • Now, as Button is -5 on Hamilton, those punks are all about “Hami had 2 DNFs more and he’s still ahead!!!”.

What I find funny is how Jenson ALWAYS proves those cunts wrong.
That’s why I think he’s gonna snatch it.

P.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz3EKUgVgsw ahahahahahahahaha go RUBENS 300 and counting

I love Formula 1, should have found this thread sooner

Er I’ll stick some random opinions here:

  • I hate Alonso as a person, but I think he is possibly the most entertaining driver in the field, due to the fact that he won’t settle for anything less than a win
  • The next race will be awesome, Suzuka is up there with Spa as an all time great track

Also, reading today that Mercedes have given Schumacher one year to improve his performance or they’re kicking him out, despite him signing a three year contract. His performance is pretty dire…

PS - British, so great supporter of both Button and Hamilton

I doubt anyone in top 5 will settle for less than a win.
As for entertaining - I don’t think he’s any more entertaining than Button.

SUZUKA in 4 hours.

P.S. Webbah - business as usual

best caption contest - open for your entries!

I dunno, certainly under the old points system Hamilton and Button were content to settle for the points they had on too many occasions, rather than risk a DNF. In 2007 Hamilton was told to aim for 6th, and it nearly cost him the championship

ABOUT FREAKING TIME Jenson got fed up of this shit:

I love how Lewis gets all defensive, no offense of course (no pun intended)

I also love Button’s comportment in the current situation:

So yeah. Great comeback from McLaren in qualifying.
Lewis made it a close third, but a gearbox penalty sets him 8th on the grid.
Button was a bit unlucky on a hard tyre, losing out a lot in the esses with 3 lap fuel load. He made it up by going fastest in 2nd and 3rd sectors for the whole session though (mightily impressive final chicane by Jenson, wrestled the car through there just like Senna), but he had it wrong in his final flying lap, so that leaves him 5th (considering Ham’s penalty) behind Alonso… and Kubica… but guess what? He’s on hard fucking tyre! Was the same for RedBulls in Canada - but they (Webber in particular) fucked it all up.
I’m adamant that Button won’t though. Plus the race load - there goes the esses advantage for you, Red Bulls. My bet is that we will see some early overtaking by number 1 McLaren in 130r. Even if he does not overtake, there’s no way on Earth that RedBulls can pull up enough gap for the pits by lap 11-12.

As for Lewis, he gotta give his best from 8th on the grid. And I’m sure he will.

As for RB, they are the first row (no fucking shit). RB6 performance through the esses was phenomenal on quali fuel load. They could just throw the car through there… and throw… and throw… so balanced they are, they seemed like glued to the tarmac. Vettel did 31.6 in the first sector, while Lewis only managed 31.9. Funny thing is, if you put Lewis’ first sector time and Jenson’s 2nd and 3rd, the overall time would be right up RedBull’s asses (no pun intended)

Okay, BBC’s coverage is starting… streaming begins.

Wow. That was real fucked up.
What the hell happened to Button’s tyres.

Shit, the most frustrating fact for Button is that was the 2nd fastest guy on the grid in the end, narrowly beating race-winner Vettel. Only Mark was 4/100 quicker than him.

Lad was quick as fuck during his second stint… but it was too late.

bad luck for both Mclarens obviously
