the gonome was NOT the soldier zombie.
Soldier and security zombies had more health than the scientist zombies. Gonomes are completely different.

So the Security guard zombie was tougher? Never noticed it in-game. I only noticed the HECU zombie to be a lot tougher, and the gonome to be faster as well, and capable of ranged combat. Well it’s been a while since I last played Opposing Force.
It easily not noticeable for the security zombie since the only one you see gets gunned down by Otis within a few seconds of your first encounter with it.
Yep, thats exactly what happened each time I played.
Curious that they made a whole new type of opponent only to put a single one in a place where it didn’t even make a difference.
I thought the zombie guard was there as a sort of joke. A ‘Fat security guard distracted by candy machine, completely oblivious to the fact that his partner is being killed right behind him.’ kind of joke.

I have a rather insightful suggestion, how about small teleporters after every boss battle to alternative bosses, like the giant barnacle one guy suggested, but they arent required for the continuation of the game.

In an interview the devs said instead of going to Xen, you would go back in time and fight dinosaurs. Turns out they were just kidding. I think the dinosaur idea was brilliant and should be implemented.

It should be more like you go to the future to fight nazi-cyborg-dinosaurs in their secret base near the core of the earth.
I think all the military vehicles in the game (APCs, Hummers, whatever) should have those chrome nutsacks that rednecks love to put on their ford F150s.
