Day Dream suggestion thread

oh u rammy

I just came up with the best idea ever!
Have NPCs say funny things if you talk to them over and over again, Blizzard did this for Warcraft and Starcraft (AND because most Valve employees are fans of Blizzard this idea would make sense bcos obviously Valve would have done it happily if I was there to suggest it to them)

I came up with this idea after thinking about Eli’s position in the game and how brilliant it would be if he made subtle jokes that foreshadowed unforeseen consequences;
“I don’t want to go out on a limb with this one”

Valve did this in HL2, you fool. Ever heard the citizens say “Sometimes, I Dream About Cheese”? yeah.

What is this? I missed out on that one.

That strengthens my point! Black Mesa NEEDS this even more bcos Valve did it!

I know this was said a while ago, first page to be exact, but it contains a multitude of awesomeness that must be taken note of.

It shouldn’t be that difficult to add a random fridge prop supporting hinges on the wrong side of its door (broken hinge) somewhere[/SIZE] hidden in one of the many maps of Black Mesa.

This may qualify as an easter egg, idk but imo, this idea should be questioned in the official suggestion thread.

And among the crows, a robin.

Oh shirt! it’s raw_barn!11!!!

You are typing three letters less. Is it really necessary? :hmph:

He’s bringing back Newspeak :expressionless:

Plusgood eh?

Alright, I’ll throw it over there.

Sentry Guns that act just like they did in Half-Life.

The Black Mesa sentry seems weak, sluggish, and slow to react. And with the new unlimited sprint feature, those turrets won’t be able to keep up. It also won’t shoot if it can’t see you, which was cool because it would sometimes be able to break your cover, or hit you with a couple strays.

I like the way that sounds.

Sentry guns have been replaced by angry old ladies with handbags.

Then I guess you really are in for a shock.

Win.

:3

And zombie maintenance workers in loaders :expressionless:

Now you’re just doing it to piss Dillxn off.

Not Dillxn specifically :expressionless:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
