I have not been able to test the game itself on the server as Norton has bumped the new patch.

Cool new fun map!
Am loving it.

The shorter gauss charges makes the game that much more enjoyable.
Not only is it more closer to hl1, it brings the games movement alive.
Perhaps it can deal too much damage in short charge duration as it is right now.
And I think with the tau it is easy to hit within your field of hit registery from your crosshair as I’ve mentioned in the other thread.
But it is alright

The crossbow It is getting there!
I’ll give more time and train with it.
Feels like training skills all over again.
I’m Loving it!

Nice update !

Feels a lot more like Half Life.
Now it only needs the bunny hop.

Keep up the good work !

Now, for me, only needs:

-Tau Cross-wall Shot
-Bunnyhop
-Crossfire and more classic maps
-New gamemodes
-New player models (like Gordon) and customization suit (change color, etc)

air-control, acceleration, momentum is also very important… atm the whole movement feels very different… it needs finetuning…

Yeah I think same like you

There’s plenty more work to be done, we know. It’s why we have early access.

Keep taking notes :stuck_out_tongue:

I am noticing completely random lag spikes on Linux | Debian 7 server after this patch, number of players does not seem to matter, they occur randomly regardless if 1 player online or 20.

CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2690 v2 (dedicated, not shared)
Ram: Tons free
I/O: All good
Network / ISP: InterNAP

Did not experience this before the patch.

I am not able to spot anything that is responsible for it, CPU usage is normal, network performance is normal, no packet loss etc.

EDIT: I was playing around with one of my test servers the entire day & did not notice any lag spikes so that got me thinking, i’ve ended up deleting & redownloading the server that had problems and for now it SEEMS to be working like it should, kind of odd, i believe something got messed up after after updating to this patch.
