Community Update

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Also, the later Xen release kind of makes sense, considering it’ll mostly use completely different assets. I’m really excited to see what you guys have done with it!

REJOICE REJOICE!!! Best birthday present ever

Congratulations Dev’s, this be great news!

Even better news is the fact that Xen will a full game in it’s own right…

It’s gonna be a long fortnight!

I almost want to ask “September 14th of what year”…

In all seriousness, though, this day has been coming for a long time. I can’t imagine the excitement and nervousness the devs are feeling right now that their baby will finally be shown to the whole world. Congratulations, guys.

Black mesa then 6 days later Borderlands 2? I am now fated to a horrible misfortune this month due to the fact of all of these good things coming at the same time.

oh wait just one quastion, um this means this mod is dead, right ? DD

And i’m barely evenan old man now!

GREAT, finally ! I’ve been tracking it for a long time, I ain’t the forum type, so I don’t have many posts, but this deserves some attention.

Can’t wait to try out the new entities in Hammer too :stuck_out_tongue:

If there is a .torrent download, I’ll be glad to seed

For some reason, speedtest identifies my location as if i’m in England :frowning: , just for the record, I’m from Bulgaria, Varna

Very nice indeed, waiting for this mod since 2010

Now a release on Steam and u have 100% coverage

Ahh, i can’t wait! I’m lisening to the soundtrack as we speek, and it is so AWESOME! I can’t wait to get my hands on this game!! :freeman:

Fantastic, I’ve been patiently waiting for this to come out since it was first announced!

I downloaded the Soundtrack earlier today and am still listening to it, really enjoying the variety of different tracks that you included. I’ll be sending a token of appreciation your way, Joel

One thing I noticed is that the download speed for the soundtrack was a bit low. Someone has already twigged this and actually made a torrent for the soundtrack (I assume the mod is going to be released this way too, or maybe via steam?).

For those who haven’t gotten the soundtrack yet, or want to seed it, the torrent link is here.

Cheers guys!

Saw a comment on the facebook page: “no longer vaporware”.
Now all the people that kept claiming the mod was dead are coming back to overload the server.

The new forum looks great! Great job on the mod i hope its worth the weight.

Hot shit, I picked the wrong night to get wasted. I wake up with a hangover and see this? I am so confused right now. I am not in a fit state to deal with this.

This is gonna be the longest 2 weeks ever.

But it’s gonna be rewarding

OMG, I cant believe it… finally sir, finally!!

Every time I visited the site I remembered the HL Nightwatch mod and said to myself: so much work for nothing…
Congratulations to all development team
Thank you very much guys!

Best regards from Spain

Ohai,

Let’s avoid this! I hope you have been thinking about p2p in order the avoid the release-ddos (+ turn off the forums for a day or two). I’ve got few seedboxes that I would be glad to share. :pirate:

Looking forward to play the game.

Thanks for this piece you’ve been working on for years.

PS. I’m still circumspect since can’t believe this is happening, expect way more thanks and greetings when the game will be released

So excited, can’t wait! And take your time with Xen!

I heard there are reports of pigs taking flight in certain parts of the world.
Then i heard that the temperature was rapidly dropping in Hell as well.

So i check the blackmesasource.com , and whaddayaknow.

Nice to see the story approaching it’s conclusion, even if we lost Xen along the way.
I’ll mention how awesome the mod is after i play it, a’right?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
