indians, pakistanis, and bangladeshis all outnumber east asians in britain so we call them asians because all those countries are also in asia. east asians are known here as chinamen or “ornamentals”

I understand what Asia covers but applying the term Asian to every fucking province kind of makes it a useless identifier. I only use it for North Eastern Asian countries.
