We are not a federation not even a true CONfederation but a so called “Staatenverbund”, an association of states.

I found it amusing because of the way he used “. . .” to signal a pause before going on to declare that he’s from Slovakia, not because of the subject matter. I’m a huge fan of Europe & it’s many diverse cultures & cuisines, but you sir came off way too defensive of a manner. No really necessary. I did enjoy the way you capitalized certain words though to exert a bit of that EUROPEAN attitude. 
Call it what you like, I love being able to drive through Europe without needing a passport
