BM Coverage in Australian PC Powerplay

I’ll do this as soon as the file is downloaded, and it’s pretty slow, 15 minutes left.

I already have it, but I’d rather wait for the official (better quality) scans.

Anyone here have a forum account with PCP? Maybe they could ask it there

I do. I will ask.

Sure thing, have uploaded original high quality PDF and a lower quality version I quickly churned out using Ghostscript:

High quality PDF… 83.8 MB
Low quality PDF… 3.1 MB

@CatzEyes93 - Thanks for posting the article

Thanks a lot.
Starting reading now !

awwww yeahhh

 < YAY

Wow … really looking forward to it now …

@HeWhoWatches, even your mirror is slow (150kb/s max)
I’ll mirror. Keep watching https://cazzaserver.com/bms/pcpp/

EDIT: @HeWhoWatches, Sorry about your server bandwidth :3
I made 3 attampts at copying the file to me server via cURL, and it managed to transfer 55mb each time before PHP timed out.

I’m uploading now via FTP.

EDIT EDIT: All uploaded.

Lol. It’s not high quality, just a really un-necessarily large file. 83MB for a few pages is a bit silly tbh - each page is after all just a picture file that would have looked pretty much the same at 2MB per page. Whoever scanned it didn’t seem to know about descreening either. However, I’m sure many people appreciated the effort, and at the time it came out it was better than nothing for those of us not in Oz, so no real complaints there, other than a mild case of “if you’re going to do something, do it properly”.

However, it would be great if we do get a proper digital version from the magazine editors/whoever instead of an amateur scan from a hard copy. Fingers crossed I guess.

I am impressed. :awesome:

You guiz are really gonna complain about it not being clear enough? Just read the flippin article and be happy you have your hands on it rather than having to pay cash to get it shipped from down under. mkay?

JEEZ these fans are picky.

CatzEyes93 is right we should be glad that we have this atleast

And that wasnt a direct attack on anyone in particular. Serious. It was just a general statement.

sheesh… I need to get out today.

Hold your breath, it’ll be here any second now.

Couldn’t help but to think on the soldier in “Meet the Spy”.

Quad’s crowbar and DiamonD’s decals.WAD and Ambient.Impact’s zombie were featured in a Half-Life screenshot in GamePro a couple years back. It was an article on the 20 most influential games of all time. Somehow half-life came in ninth :fffuuu:

No, I said “fingers crossed”, not “holding my breath”. Learn to read.

I heard it’s luckier to hold your breath than it is to cross your fingers. Try it out.

If you want to die, surely.
