BM Coverage in Australian PC Powerplay

We did not pay them nor did they pay us.

/me gets back into tub with Raminator

We have varies security components installed in to the build. It will keep the average JOE and middle man from playing it if it where to leak.

What JamesKane said is what they do to prevent people from leaking the build itself. To prevent people from taking screenshots or video and leaking it, some game developers have the playtester’s personal email address or name watermarked on every square inch of the screen, so that way if screenies or videos are leaked they know who did it and they can enforce that impressively long NDA that they make you sign. I don’t know if they dev’s are doing that for BM, but that’s just one of the things that game developers do prevent media leaks.

Pretty much this.

Yeah but Mod developers are the red-headed stepchildren of the game development community… I don’t think it would hurt their street cred too much :3

mattemuse, most mod devs are the ones who do become part of the game developement community instead.

I understand that was a joke but it’s very stupid.

Congratulations on figuring out it was a joke, but your reply makes no sense whatsoever. You might want to do a little stealth editing on that so I can figure out what you’re trying to tell me.

I understood it.

What did he mean, then? “Instead” of what? I’m not being asinine here, I honestly don’t get that sentence.

This is kinda how I took it. Ok so that last part was implied on my end. :pirate:

ah, makes more sense when phrased like that. my post was tongue in cheek, but whatever.

Better than having your tongue somewhere else…

On Topic: If I came to the BM forums one day and saw a thread about more leaked media, I wouldn’t go there. The only things I would look at would be what was actually in the mag.

In my mouth pal.

Wait, Matt’s tongue or yours? :what:Just messing with you Fong, what you said kinda lends itself to this question rather well, so I had to ask.

Fong fucks men.

Wait, too far?

Well if the build was leaked I wouldn’t download it, simply because it would make the final release all the less impressive.

Also, hi guys I’m back

How’d that countdown work out for ya?

@Dillxn, Still waiting for a 2009 release?

Bingo.

Hey Dillxn! Congratulations… Achievement “Welcome to Black Mesa” done!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
