did you turn on the oxy, the fuel and the power?

what oxy?You mean there is 2 switches in each room? Because I found 1 red button in both rooms, when I pressed them that regulator connected and when I came down near broken lift some scientist said " someone restored all the power"

that restores the power. Now you need to go to the other level and turn on oxy and fuel.

the missile silo (where the tentacles are) has 3 levels. You came from the top level. Below that are 2 doors. One leads to the power room, the other to the fuel/oxy room

Please, can somebody tell me how past this boss?
I trying disctract it with grenades, but even when I thow grenade a then crouch, tentacles still found me after few seconds and kill me.

each “head” investigates different sounds. Try throwing multiple grenades or firing a shot and then moving.

Hey guys,

I’m stuck with an impossible jump.

The support thingy at the bottom of the ladder has no collision. I fall right through it.

Is there another way around or can you make the jump without landing on the support first?

That is not the correct way to go. You need to go on the pipes. That is literally there for decoration

i found throwing a grenade at the doorway to distroy all debris, then throw one on the oppersite side of the area, and sprint :slight_smile:

When i was on the top i threw grenades down, placed a C4 up there, then I crouched and moved silently down the ladders, when I was on the level where the tentacles were, I detonated the C4, tentacles moved to the explosion, I could proceed unharmed. :slight_smile:

Also, you’re safe while you’re on the ladders. That helped a lot for me.

I didn’t know you cud use grenades to distract them, so I just ran like hell. That works too

Yeah, you will be safe at the top of the ladders. Use a grenade to clear the debris in the door below.

Yeah, this had me stumped for a bit as well. Just crawl up on the pipes and you will find a hole…

I turned on the fan, turned on the Fuel…and i when i get back to the control room to hit “Fire” button it doesn’t want to fire…what do i do? (also in the control room the Fan is [COLOR=‘Blue’]ON but the Fuel is [COLOR=‘Red’]ON :freeman:

There are 2 doors you need to go to for 2 different areas one is on the bottom floor the other is above it

the fan is not enough. The fan only allows you to get into the room where you turn on the fuel IIRC

then you still need to turn on the power

That needs to be fixed honestly, that stumped me the most. Every time I crouch, I’m supposed to be silent as in the original half life yet they still found me when I was moving through the area. Especially when I was certain they were distracted trying to kill the grenade I threw.
