Black Mesa and Google?

If it’s really a “good rig” then i strongly doubt that the cpu can’t handle 64 bits. AMD 64-bit cpu’s have been around since 2003. Geez!

and you also have those silly dragons in your sig, so your opinion is irrelevant.

A serio, qual é o interesse desses dragões? Tinha 12 anos quando comprei um Tamagotchi e já nessa altura achava aquilo rídiculo.

Well… It’s 2.33ghz intel Quad. And yeah. I bet it can run 64 bit. I just don’t find 64 bit to be… attractive. I mean come on. Some of the game has support for 64 bit but most doesn’t.

As for the OS, the kernel is fine with executing 32-bit apps on a 64-bit OS. Most of the time :stuck_out_tongue:
But 64 bits do give you access to your full 4gb’s of ram, and 32 bits don’t.

Yeah, pretty much any 32 bit app will work with Windows 7 64 and it uses your hardware much better.

HOLY CRAP NEED TO CHANGE RIGHT NAO! Oh wait. That means I can’t play for a day or two. Maybe later.

For a day or two? It takes you two days to reinstall Windows?

For me, Windows 7 installation only needed 20 minutes. I was surprised that it was so quick. Windows XP needed at least 3 hours.

Hell nah… Downloading Mw2 and Bf2 and all those other stuff i can’t back up…

Edit : I think we REALLY should get back on topic now.

For some(in the RC version) it took about 20 hours O_o

Can’t back up? just split your partition, put the things to backup on the other partition, and format the first partition to install…

Windows 7 has nice tools to do all that, in the Disk Management thing. You can shrink your current partition (unless it’s really really full, then you’ll need to free up some space first), and create a new partition in the now unformatted space.

Sorry for staying off topic, but this had to be said… This should save you a day or two

I’m too bothered with that.

On topic : Black mesa isn’t a hoax. Google is.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
