As far as the shoe goes, I didn’t read all the posts, but don’t think they ever promised to release a video of a dev eating a shoe, just that they would eat it (did that make sense? Brain running out of caffine…).
Eating the shoe is nothing. I had to give out my personal home address on a forum filled with lunatics. I fear for my life right now.
Shoe can be made to taste great when cooked properly. Unfortunately it’s a secret hobo recipe none of us will ever know.

Really it’s been so long for me I forgot there is even a mod in development.
Oh yeah… that’s why I keep visiting these boards. D’oh.
Awww…I was hoping it would be released this year since they had so much done…oh well. The good thing is that it won’t be as buggy as the original, even if we get a 2010 release date. And then a 2011 and a 2012 and then up to the point where we get invaded by the combine. 
I periodically check this site, so my hopes weren’t too high on it being released anytime soon.
