Black Mesa 2009 Update

They would never do that though. Anyways, I have to go to bed. Night.

Oh well, no cookies for me and my guess in the “release date” thread. Hope you all have a good Christmas/Hanukha/Festival Of Light/Midwinter’s Eve/Whatever and come back all refreshed and whatnot to finish the mod as excellently as you’ve started it.

Looking forward to release date, whenever it may be.

We’ve waited this long. We can wait a little longer.

Solidarity.

I guess I can go outside, now that I don’t need to sit at the PC hitting the F5 key.

Hmmm… I’m a bit late to the party eh?

To the mod: “Oh well!”

I’m not in a hurry. Take your time, and make this mod awesome.

Since the release date has been pushed back indefinitely, could this mean that the multiplayer component will be included in the first release? Or is the delay just long enough for the single player game to be finished?

Not surprised, but still disappointed.

On the bright side this gives me the month or three I needed to update my 5-year-old rig to something that will actually do modern games justice! So… thanks I guess? :retard:

It would ease the depression over the delay if there was actually a more detailed reason why they delayed this mod
also, IT WOULD NOT BE RUSHED IF IT WERE RELEASED THIS YEAR!!!

Can we get a DEV to come out and say ‘now we aim for Q1 2010’.

Yeah? I just MADE a flamethrower. Just for this forum. I’ve never been much of an angry forumite, but I am ready to ROAST some motherfuckers in defense of Black Mesa.

Gawd… dammit, I was really hoping for a Christmas release. There better be some epic, massive update with exclusive medias for Christmas

Drat! Very disappointing news… has it really been 5 years since this mod was originally conceieved… thats just amazing! On the plus side thats almost as long as it took to create Half Life 2!

I am now however compelled to join the bunch of forum goers asking as to why the mod has been delayed and do hope for a news update or something to tide me over until release!

Good luck with the mod and see you all at the end of Jan 2010!

I was reading this a couple hours ago and I had written a big giant post about how I was taking it a lot better than I expected myself to and that I’m glad they delayed it but when I hit post I lost connection to the server and lost it all. And I was too lazy to write it again.
So yeah, I’m taking it better than I expected it to and I’m glad they delayed it.

It’s disappointing news, but I pretty much saw this coming.

I’ve waited this long, so there’s no reason I can’t wait a few more months, or however long it’s going to take. I’d rather see a quality product than some rushed crap anyway.

I really don’t mind when the release date is, although it is starting to make me obsessive, I mean I’ve been looking forward to this mod for 2 years now, and the more I see, the more I want, but I don’t want to be one of those cunts who demands shit from you guys (youtube)[/SIZE], when you guys owe us nothing.

I felt a great disturbance in the Forums, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

Meh, this would only be the second community I ever participated in that revolved around a free game which is still under development.

For the record, I don’t think HL2 has yet to see a SP TC-mod on the scale of BM anyway.
