ofc i like HL2 a lot and episodes as well but HL1 is to me a little better so i guess BM will be as well.

Man, i just want them to release an unfinished version now, and then apply patches and stuff later. Waiting for this mod for a little over a year can get pretty boring.

An unfinished version would just make me not feel as excited when they release the patches and stuff, and the full finished version would have the full excitement.

I remember when Black Mesa: Source was first announced. In all honesty I figured it would just be like any other remake mod. Some new maps, reskinned weapons, half-life sounds thrown in. I had no idea what the mod would turn into at the time.

Sadly, drinking liquor at work is generally frowned upon (though my team is notorious for owning a margarita machine and using it whenever possible), so I’ll have to get over my grief the old-fashioned way: remembering that I won’t actually have the time to play the damn game for a while anyway.

I guess the thing I don’t get is how people can put the ReleaseDate ahead of the QualityProduct that is BM.
The date was a minor detail, that happened to get missed, where as the mod itself is still right on track. Bitching about the date makes no sense, but complaining about an inferior product would, which is why it’s not out yet as the devs have no intention of releasing anything inferior.
well this is sad news, i only just heard on YouTube but just figured it was some brats trying to steer up trouble oh well, atleast there are a few games i can look foward to in the future of 2010 (Blackmesa being one of em).
also since i thought the Main Blackmesa home was dead, so i only checked the Blackmesa Devs Twitter page (which is part of the reason i thought it was a joke that it was delayed, so i check this site) maybe prehaps updating that to let some people who just look at the Twitter page know it was delayed?
now off to wait until um somewhere in 20010 away.

Sadly i was waiting a long time for this month but after reading this…
Anyway its better that way since the mod’ll be more efficient. Heres a theory: They tell us that it wont be released this year, while they actually do release it as a christmas present, and to suprise us. No hopes there though :’(
