Best Web browser

Oh. Well I did not know that :stuck_out_tongue:
Can you also drag it out of the current window to make a new one?

Yes ^^

SRWare Iron
Because it’s like Chrome, but a lot better.

Chrome, except it’s got some shitty memory management, and can’t handle big pictures like firefox can.
Firefox still has some memory issues though from what I hear.

I use the chrome beta channel, I like firefox, but it gets really bloated and runs slow on my laptop. :meh:

I use firefox, I like where Chrome is going with addon support, but until I have a freakin drop down bookmarks menu (screw toolbars, I keep it minimal) and a few other addons I’ll stick with Firefox…Plus the proposals for the Firefox 4.0 UI are pretty damn sexy.

The main reason I love chrome is the superbar or whatever they call it.

Chrome for paranoids lol

Anyone who said chrome likes spyware, all of you. Also you’re a communist if you like chrome.

:hmph:

Communist!

FIREFOX BITCHES

(except when it eats to much memory and I have to restart it to cut down on page file usage goddamn it why haven’t they fixed that yet also install noscript and adblock plus or you are a douchefag heyoooooooo)[/SIZE]

  1. Firefox - Lots of awesome addons and customizability including being able to change the look. I also got into using it before IE started using tabs so that was a plus.

  2. Opera - The addons for Opera aren’t as versatile as Firefox and I think that they don’t have the same feel. I do love the quick dial thing though. Any way to get it on Firefox?

  3. Chrome - Haven’t had much experience with this but it seems pretty lightweight and good for just loading up for a quick search or something. No addons to my knowledge either though that’s not really a problem.

  4. Internet Explorer - Just feels sort of sloppy for some reason. Don’t know why. I don’t really like the look of it either.

The firefox addon that gives you the chrome/opera homepage is called speed dial.

You have to have the beta I think, but there’s really no reason not to. If Chrome ever crashes, which it rarely does, it takes 2 seconds to come back up and restores all tabs.

etc. etc. There’s a bunch of nice addons’ that let you change bookmarks, none of them are official but I’m using a ton of different addons and they seem to work fine.

Anyway, in case it isn’t obvious, Chrome all the way.

  1. Internet Explorer Sucks. I rest my case.
  2. Firefox is nice, but is much slower than Chrome with an interface I don’t like as much.
  3. I’ve never tried Opera.

Might check out that SRWare Iron though, if it’s just like Chrome only “better”.
Edit: Just checked out SRWware Iron. I like how it removes all the silly background things Chrome does, but I’ll probably avoid it until it gets extension support and the ability to import data from Chrome.

I reevaluate every time a new browser comes out, I’ve heard FF 3.6 is almost here. I agree, 4 looks really sexy, and I’ll definitely check it out when it comes around.

Max said it pretty much well enough. I use Chrome atm, before that, Opera for a long while, and before that, Firefox
.

I used opera for a while but I couldn’t really get used to a lot of things. I think it’s a great browser, but some things about it were just different from chrome and firefox (shift click vs ctrl click to open a new tab, for example) and I never really felt at home.

Recent convert to Chrome from Firefox. I love the superbar thing and minimized look, plus I never really used any of the Firefox addons. The Chrome Experiments were a plus; great to play around with physics objects when I’m waiting for a lecture to start (or to show off).
