Find a more conscientious pedigree, and avoid that issue. Damn shame that greed and massive inbreeding can so cripple so many of those amazing dogs.

My family had a first-rate German Shepard. Loyal to the core, smart as anything I’d ever seen, a winning personality, and eerily capable at discerning the mood and intent of just about everyone. I have much love for these dogs.

Mine could tell when I was sad, happy, angry, etc. She reacted to all of them. Wasn’t exceptionally bright when it comes to intellect, but that is why I loved that beautiful dog. Damn I miss her :frowning:

The German Shepherd I got was kinda evil. I still have scars from the fight it gave me when I gave it a bath. And when I put it onto the kennel to sleep. And when I was walking by it. It was the only dog I have ever had that has EVER been that mean.

Now, I have heard that it is extremely docile (I gave it away). Its probably because I gave it a ghetto whooping :smiley:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (@ ur avatar) My neighbor has one of those ugly little motherfuckers (a pug). Personally, I like Beagles. Not only does my family have one, they’re damn good at making sure you know someone is on your property (they will bark incessantly at anyone or anything that goes near the house), they’re one of the most well-known Breeds of Dog, and they HATE cats (well, the one at my house will chase ours around. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE cats)
