Checking googlemaps, we have the first location
And the second location with the buried location also marked to the East
EDIT: stupid me did first location twice, now fixed

The out of place capital letters in the base64 message spell NOTEWELSH. Any one have any idea what that means?
I would assume its a hint. Dr. Welsh has a desk in QE. Has anyone checked it for clues?
Edit: also, Dr.Welsh was mentioned in the last base64 code.
It also might be a good idea to check out the location that’s in the east. The message did say something is buried and it mentions niobium
Niobium is on one of the whiteboards! A message about some sort of AI project, I think.
I checked in Google Earth, the location of the first seems to be different than your google maps version, seems to be further south over the Kryptos statue?
Wikipedia says Niobium is “a lustrous, grey, ductile, paramagnetic metal in group 5 of the periodic table, although it has an atypical configuration in its outermost electron shells compared to the rest of the members.” Also, relating to the coin in the Code C image, it is used in some commemorative coins.
Holy shit, what did I miss? Can somebody type up a summary of the recent base64/Coordinate development?
The first post of this page is its own summary. There was no major development lately, which is why they’re dropping hints.
First Location: CIA
Second Location: Holloman AFB
You’ll probably get shot if you try to go digging out there.
Yeah you’re right, I missed out the 0 in 8.05 for the N seconds, now fixed, was tired as heck last night when this dropped in.
Having read up on the Kryptos statue, the message bears some similarity to the second cipher text from on there:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kryptos (misspellings as is)
so the message posted on irc is very similar to message 2 from the krypto sculpture, that was encrypted with a polyalphabetic substitution, using a vigenere tableau.
my guess is this is the lead to follow, some possible keyphrases may be:
drbottomley - from whiteboard
drhorn - from whiteboard
dorn - from konami site
notewelsh - from hint message
The message is easier to read like this (but then you miss the capital letters)
Using Google Maps to determine the location.
There are some images scattered around.
Also in the title bar it says “White Sands Missile Complex, Truth or Consequences East, Nuevo México, EEUU”
EDIT: There is also this photo at east (i cannot determine if is 14.16 miles) of a house, it links to this https://ssl.panoramio.com/photo/78900278.
Just adding things. NATIV at Google https://www.astronautix.com/lvs/navaho.htm
Hey-hey! First time back on the forums in a while–been super busy. Anyway, with this new IRC information it looks like my ABC Telegraphic code theory is a bust. Ah well, at least it was fun to experiment with and devise my own little zany plot out of it lol.
Anyway, looks like we’ve got some more information that could help out with Code D–I’m guessing that’s what this information refers to, right? Considering we haven’t found anything new in the game, I’m guessing it is.
Code D remains unsolved! Anyone have any fresh ideas as to how to tackle the monster?
These clues don’t seem to be providing much help.
I noticed the mention of the niobium or whatever it’s called. Also, the IRC chat mentioned “NOTE WELSH” and if you look at Welsh’s desk there is a giant periodic table poster above it. I’m going through and assigning chemical abbreviations to the numbers via the periodic table, both the two-digit versions and the single digits. So far, I’m not getting much of anything legible, although the first four numbers (3152) spell “GATE”. Maybe there are random words strewn throughout and we have to pick them out?
EDIT: The IRC chatter must be some sort of big hint, especially noting the quagmire we’ve had with Code D. Storm is obviously trying to steer us toward something, but we’re just plain missing it. I almost feel bad–he’s probably going crazy trying to tell us without actually telling us, thinking we’re all really slow or something.
For some reason I have the feeling this is gona end up leading us to the hidden Lab C of QE.
There’s a notepad prop on Dr Welsh’s desk in the optics lab. You can knock everything off his desk except the notepad. It’s a bit hard to read, but it looks like algebra problems and stuff.
