[ARG] The Pizza Code Mystery

How do you get this so quickly? Does it just click for you?

Anyways, “TV in Mesa”. These seems important, is it possible there’s a TV in Black Mesa we can pull something from?

Also, if there are any other anagrams you can think of based on stuff of KXBM, please tell us.

I just went to the Local Desert Singles site, and I came across this at the bottom of the source:

If you run it through a hex decoder, it spits out a bunch of “#” outputs that look like ASCII art. I could be completely off base here, but it just seems weird to me. Any thoughts?

Mesa in TV

Thanks!

I did an anagram search of Tim Evans after I noticed the Thomas Lee one. I would have posted it earlier, but I didn’t want to start a wild goose chase involving every TV in the game. Apologies for that.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for anything else.

Too late, already started searching. I’m gonna enlist some friends.

It’s code for the the Nihilanth ASCII art.

De-obfuscated it’s basically:

console.log(ASCII_ART);
console.log("Alone...aren't you alone...");
setInterval(function(){
   console.log("...aren't you alone...");
}, 2000);

I know it’s a longer phrase, but what about an Anagram Analysis for BENALOHPAILLIER?

Labia Helper Loin

Lab Pole Re Nihila

Reliable Halo Pin

It probably doesn’t mean anything, but the 2000 millisecond interval on the “…aren’t you alone…” is actually defined in code as:

21.32*16/129.52+1997.37;

Which actually is 2000.0037245213093 milliseconds.

There is an other script like that on kxbm, maybe its different or maybe its just differently encoded

atleast its using unicode charecters like “\u2593\u2593\u2593\u2593\u2593\u2593” instead of hex represitation

If I were to take a guess, this is the code for the ASCII G-Man in the console.

I’m curious about those numbers. It would have been simple enough to just encode 2000ms.

I’m trying out several anagrams for things on KXBM after JohnnotJohn solved a few (nice work by the way), things that stick out are the name Major Frank Abrams and localdesertsingles, the former in particular because it contains the letters BMRF. Anyone got any ideas?

I guess we can split that into 21.32 , 16 , 129.52 and 1997.37 as individual numbers there. I will have a look to see whether they bare any significance in any way

Sorry about making so many posts, but I remember I was browsing the Easter Egg thread a while ago and there was a strange face in one of the TVs in the facility. Maybe that has something to do with it? Also, the game files state that the only files with ‘tv’ in their name, at least in the props folder all appear in QE, where the majority of the in game ARG takes place. Unfortunately, I’m not quite sure how to open these files myself, but I think there could be things in there

I was working on that name. Nice job noticing the BMRF. With that in mind, I was able to get “Frank Abrams” = “BMRF as an ark”

It’s a bit of a stretch, but it might be something.

I think I’ve finally went through every monitor, but either we have already seen them or they seem useless.

This one caught my eye:

Tons of numbers, but I don’t think it’s useful. There was another one very similar, but I couldn’t read it.

The Data on the right does not correlate to the data on the graph ( as one would assume) maybe they are cord’s in longitude and latitude?

My thoughts exactly.

Here is the other image (it also says Data Feedback).

Where exactly is this one located?

Both are located in : “bm_c1a0a” which is the level you get off the tram. After entering the actual facility, walk down the hall and take the first right. You should hear some scientists arguing. Walk into that room and look at the monitors mounted on the ceiling.
