[ARG] The Pizza Code Mystery

Mr. Stormseeker, tear down these encryptions!

:reagan:

Sort of makes me wonder, what if it isnā€™t Stormseeker behind this? :awesome:

Anyways, I have an idea. In the data we have what implicates another map? Perhaps, to muddle the efforts of the people trying to figure this out, he/she used an arbitrary four numbers from something another developer worked on.

Has anyone been able to access the Xen replacement map? It ends the game by overloading the source engine. But if enough entities were removed then the map would be playable. We might find something there!

Thatā€™s a ridiculous theory, but at this point, Iā€™m willing to try anything.

I still think the announcement board should at least be looked into, but I donā€™t know how to myselfā€¦ :fffuuu:

I dunno, itā€™s simply what I would have done. They donā€™t relate by default but one could hint to them and the other is simply inaccessible by normal means. Sounds like a good way to hide something to me.

Hey, guys, did anyone look in that headcrab Xen habitat in QE?

What replacement map are you talking about? I can look at it maybe.

I recall the developers saying that entering Xen just brings you to a map that has enough entities to overload the game, making it crash.

Nocliped every single section of that area, and nothing accept for a whiteboard. And i canā€™t remember what was on it.

What if (any) of the secret areas are obfuscated from being seen by no-cliping unless you happen to pass through it? Think of it like being able to see the whole map while being no-clipped outside of it, but if there was a secret area, it was textured, or placed in such a way that you couldnā€™t see it unless you were inside it. I think we should start decompiling maps.

I understand what youā€™re saying, but I really doubt Stormseeker would do that. It just seems kind of far fetched considering the slightly obvious noclip locations of the last two. Still, I guess itā€™s worth a try. We are kind of at a dead end, again.

Itā€™s probably something hidden in plain sight, like those canvas paintings.

Found this in QE.
There is a four digit code (5120) highlighted twice, and used multiple times in several equations.
Significant?

I really think that thereā€™s something hidden in that shack in ST.

Edit: oh God, that equation says = 7

I finished the game and after the credits finish rolling I am back to the main menu, console says dropped from server reason server shut down, no engine overload or crash? Is everyone playing the same version of BM as me?

I can actually do this PDE, but I donā€™t know what Mew initial is, thatā€™s the variable that looks like a curvy capital M with the o subscript. Also in the Energy equation mass isnā€™t denoted by capital M, it should be lower case m. So this whole equation could be bogus due to the misuse of constants.

EDIT: Looking at Keplerā€™s Laws big M is actually the mass of the large object when solving for ā€œgā€ acceleration as I see a large G which is the gravitational constant = 6.67384x10^-11

EDIT2: Well I see the variables are given values at the bottom of the whiteboard but the SPAS is in the way. It looks like an equation that deals with gravity, light, energy, and other things. This could be an equation for teleportation using Xen. Itā€™s just strange seeing an equation that ugly come out with a clean whole number 7, I donā€™t think itā€™s right and I never got that far into physics so yeahā€¦

This does mean that this just got a lot more complicated though.

EDIT: ā€œ5120ā€ is on the board people! Someone run it through and see if it solves the cypher!

What if, hear me out on this, solving this ARG gets us closer to see the Xen chapters of the game.

What, like storm is going to work twice as fast on them? :brow:

Iā€™ve posted everything there is concerning the shack. Thereā€™s no further secrets (checked from Hammer), nothing is usable there, etc. etc. The only things that may be of consequence are the map/picture, both of which have a picture of a runway.
