I did a little research on the number 247 which appear in both Half Life and Black Mesa and in the hidden room under the staircase in QE and here is what i got.
247 is a year so if anything perhaps that could be useful or maybe not.
Number 247 is a pentagonal number so that is interesting.
247 is also an alternative way of saying 24/7 so perhaps dealing with time.
247 is the approximate number of acres in a square kilometer.
Even if 247 is not a clue than perhaps we will know why that number was used in the original Half life.
Perhaps the components of the number, 2, 4, and 7 could have some significance.
Actually, it’s correct sequence of portals in Lambda Core.
Basically, you have multiple portals, and you need to get to top. Some portals will return you to beginning, others kill you, and 2-4-7, is sequence to get to top.

lol, false solution monger, ive not come up short. and most of what I have posted is in the right direction. I AM actually close to a solution. ive posted some things about it and asked for help aligning some things. I’m doing it on paper so it is taking a while. if you or anyone else would like to help, that would be awesome. back to the clocks and inverse numbers. 21 into 1 is a parity… instead of 24 hours in a day, you have 21. think of it like clock arithmetic. so on a clock, if there are 21 hours. and 47 hours have passed. it will be rotated through TWICE, WITH A REMAINDER OF 5 so it would 5:00 so 47=5 an so on and so on. then you have your primes, 21 will share some primes. . there, all the hard work is done. its ready to be solved. I’m putting down my paper so I can take a break and actually play some games! so someone with better software than my piece of paper should be able to solve this in no time… BOOM. and once all that is done, I’m pretty sure using BENALOHPAILLIER as a transposition cipher will button it up, the direction of the text or numbers may need to be reversed or flipped once done. youre welcome!
Well, the odd part is that it shows up with those portals. The thing is is that thefirat time 247 actually shows up in the game is in the hidden QE room with the SSTV signal.
