You can know for sure if pizza is in a map by using this command in the console:
r_drawmodelstatsoverlay 1
Then filter on pizza. Click on the found textures and it will give you the option to make it blink in game.
The Philosopherās Stone is a mythical alchemy item that could turn normal metal into gold. The story has been around a lot longer than Harry Potter. In the context of the game, the scientists are researching nuclear alchemy. By adding or removing protons from an atom it can be changed to a completely different element, like gold.
And yah, radioactive decay and half life are closely related. heh
The funny part being that there is a womenās bathroom/locker room that you canāt get into in the level. lol

Edit; I just had a idea. Someone needs to try bringing a pizza though the lambda core to the scientists and security guard who makes the āpizza guyā comment.

Have both been suggested many, many times before. Nothing was found, and nothing happened.
Yeah, I tried taking the pizza to Dr. Hornās office pretty much the minute I heard about this. Nothing.
I tried to investigate the tau cannon incident looking at the map. It looks like the gibs belong to ādr_hornā. In the Laser Lab, before the overcharge, there are a scientist, a guard, and gibs floating in mid-air. Not sure of what it means, but anything āDr. Hornā might be relevant.
This came up a few pages ago, but nothing came of it. All attempts to talk to scientist just resulted in normal scientist lines.
I donāt think anyone ever brought him a pizza though?

I think someone with previous experience about ARGs mentioned a few pages back that it might be a smart idea to map out all the clues and their locations.
Does anyone have a, or know how to make a good looking overview map of QE for example?

My try with 1st QE map:
Thereās problem with some cellings - parts of map are not visible in both overview mode, and looking from top using noclipā¦
That looks nice, didnāt know about that feature in the source engine!
Would be cool to do this with all the maps in the game and stitch them together into a huge 2D map of the entire game

Yes, zoom set to 1 (or 2, donāt remember now), did couple of shots of all areas and joined them in gimp (+ removed green BG that is happening in some places). Ah, and hdr rendering disabled.
Instead of spectator, which was not working (using cvars/commands) for me, i just used noclip.
I think that it would look much better if we can somehow light whole map.
Anyway, If that what I got is enough, I can do rest of QE, even maybe in one file.
As long as no areas are missing completely I think it is fine (of course some rooms will be above others etc.)
I would suggest using a panorama software to set control points for all the images (even those from different maps) in order to stitch them together. I donāt think you have enough RAM to open all the maps in 4000x4000 resolution or such at the same time.
For example it is not difficult to create 100+ Mpixel images in a dedicated panorama software, but would be impossible to work in Photoshop with such a big image (including layers etc.)
Irfanview is opening 1200x2000 panoramic photo without problem on old c2d :] But maybe thereās some googlemaps like web viewer to achieve that?
