I can’t believe this isn’t solved yet. What have we learned since the middle of October. I really don’t wanna sift through all these pages.
hate to sound like a dick but, despite the effort of many forum members, no concrete progress has been done since the day after this ARG was discovered
this, in my opinion, is the authors’ fault
The final code… when you figure out what it is type it into your phone…
You might be able to order a pizza with it
Seriously though this sounds like a real tough one
Once again, the key to remember here is that it is a challenge. If this had been solved in a week, what would be the point? I think Storm is actually ecstatic it is taking a bit of time because of all the work he put into it. If it had been solved in no time, he would probably feel let down by that. I couldn’t be happier with the progress: Not only do we have most of the first code segment complete, but we have a standstill that requires someone to make a breakthrough.
That, in my opinion, is as thrilling as it gets.\
EDIT: Also, I’ve got some more information to post to the blog and the forum later tonight once I get off work. Credit goes to Code_ from the IRC chat for helping me look at the ARG in a new way, and there is a lot to update. For starters, check this out:
Sorry, can’t give you access to that one.
Even though it looks like it, it really has nothing to do with the ARG.
Congratulations though to the people solving stuff, you’re all finally thinking outside the box.
Obviously I would like to help further, but that would defeat the object of the game.
Most people would have given up by now, which is a shame, you’re all so very close to finding the answer.
Ladies and gentlemen, I believe it is time we start looking at things in a new light. Now, that doesn’t mean that the Enigma Cipher is a SECOM cipher, but it could point to something else that we need to examine for clues related to a SECOM cipher.
More to come tonight. Till then, happy hunting
I think I just found the site we will eventually need to log into. Can’t believe we didn’t find this before:
Requires a username and password.
I will definitely be making an update to the blog whenever I get home tonight–I expect it to go up pretty late, but it should be around for the morning. You can scan through previous posts or just check out my BM user info for the link.
Don’t give up or think this will never be solved; it will take some time, but we are getting very, very close to breaking through this first set of clues.
WOW nice work. Getting interesting.
Here is some VB code for decoding SECOM Ciphers: https://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=62602&lngWId=1
I did not make this, but you guys might find it useful. (I don’t know if this has been posted before - if it has i’m sorry.)
Solved the Enigma Cipher!!!
It IS a SECOM Cipher, and the input is “Laser Optronic Linear Inducer Cannon”
The message is:
“IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT RESEARCH INTO POTENTIAL ALTERNATIVE BRIDGING METHODS MAY BE SUPPORTED BY THE INCLUSION AND APPLICATION OF THE LASER OPTRONIC LINEAR INDUCER ARRAY TO ACT AS AN AXIS MODULATOR FOR REGULATION AND FOCUSING AN UNKNOWN ENERGY FORM WAS DETECTED WHILST INVESTIGATING THIS HYPOTHESIS PLEASE USE CODE D 0914 TO COMPLETE THE SEQUENCE ON MY SITE”
I will be updating the blogwith how I came to the solution and the resources I used in just a few minutes.
Furthermore, I have accessed the “stormseeker.com/thepizzaisalie” website with the information.
The username is “drhorn” and the password is the four codes in order: “1001085139140914”
The site gives you access to the following pages:

Ladies and gentlemen . . . the fun has just begun
EDIT:
Updated the blog to include all of this new info in concise form:
Well done! Wow you did move quick! I missed you on IRC, but congrats! Now. What does it all mean?
Thank you, but really we all had a hand in it. And as for what does it mean, well, I can tell you that the image is probably a standalone puzzle. It’s named “grilledpizza”, and it looks to be in the shape of a piece of pizza. Perhaps it is some sort of overlay puzzle or moving the triangles in certain ways will lead to words / numbers . . . .
That’s all speculation, of course
Excellent work there!!! I never knew that it would take 2 months to complete. But you did it! Now on to the next puzzle. Maybe the text above may help. Are there any geometry related codes or ciphers? And what is the significance of that red square on top? Lets do this!!!
Edit: The wiki page needs to be updated
Gotta hand it to you, Guns, you’re the man.
I also stared at that Grilled Pizza for five minutes. Didn’t get anywhere. Kinda made out some letters, but I think that was more of just wishful thinking. I don’t have much of an idea as to what to do with it.
Maybe rescale a bit, and transpose two extra copies over the original with a multiply mask?
Well both grilledpizza are the same files, with md5 hash of: 47DBA39227AFDCD69963A77FD06DA7F5 - so overlays not really a issue?
Text written in black at the bottom of the page says:
They stole the lie, as if that matters to me, HALOS is far too complete to stop now. They can’t hide there, not now, not now I have this, this holds the key to all things… they CAN’T hide from me. I will follow them, I’ll set up a link and this to remind me. Perhaps I should hide it on the secure site, perhaps that would be best. I’ll find them though and they will pay, they will definitely pay. Dr Marcel was right when he said, “When you’re building a cage for Satan, you don’t ask him to wait around whilst you put the doors on.” Welsh is probably behind this, but he won’t get away with it.
I’m guessing that would produce a https://thestormseeker.com/lambda
Which gives us some extra capital letters to combine with those in the message?
edit: nevermind… every page seems to show that
They stole the lie, as if that matters to me, HALOS is far too complete to stop now. They can't hide there, not now, not now I have this, this holds the key to all things... they CAN'T hide from me. I will follow them, I'll set up a link and this to remind me. Perhaps I should hide it on the secure site, perhaps that would be best. Googled “When you’re building a cage for Satan”. The phrase is mentioned in a tv series called bugs.
Season 2 - Episode 9 from bugs:
Casssandra: Tell Cyberax you're moving the deadline.
Jean-Daniel: When you're building a cage for Satan, you don't ask him to wait around while you put the doors on.
The next Episode is called: “A Cage for Satan”. Mabey this means nothing but it’s worth checking out ?
Who is Dr. Marcel? He isn’t a developer… Is Dr. Marcel a scientist in QE anywhere? I can’t check right now. But if you can, please do. I’ll continue looking now.
I’m pretty sure J.D. Marcel is just another reference to the TV show “Bugs”. He was mentioned on one of the whiteboards:
J.D. Marcel – Ext. 1187-463
I printed out a copy of the triangle and have cut it out. I’m thinking it needs to be folded in some way, and once it has been the black or white areas will spell something out. The red triangle is probably there to signify an orientation point.
Anyone a pro at origami?
I’ve been following this since (almost) the beginning and because no-one else has posted this I decided to finally make an account.
The image is in binary - take black=1 and white=0 and read it left to right downwards then it translates to:
000000100010000000100010011101000110011001100101011110000110100101110010011010110110110001100011011100100110101101111010011001100110010101101010011100000110011001101100011011100110011001100101011010110111100101110110010001110101101001010001010100010101001000100010001000000001011100000011
which when translated into ascii gives:
“tfexirklcrkzfejpflnfekyvGZQQR”
INCLUDING the quotes in the translation which makes me think that this isn’t a coincidence. There is some other chr(13)-like characters in there but I thought I would post this quickly before people start coming up with other random ideas of what to do with the image.
Back to you Guns…
This kind of thing sort of hurts my head, but it reminds me of the sorts of puzzles on this site.
Just in case it ends up being pertinent, I think I’ll leave this here…
https://www.griddlers.net/pages/t_example
Maybe grilledpizza can be solved in the reverse of these puzzles?
