funny I sense a fourteen-year newbie OP who should not have even been playing Left 4 Dead, let alone in front of younger siblings

so as to not sound like an asshole, I have a kid brother… that I keep out of my room whenever I’m playing on my computer b/c most of my games are waay to violent for a four-year-old to be watching me play.

Kids can be fun, but they can be hectic. I get an anxiety attack when there are too many of them in one place, running around… screaming.

You say as if you’re hurting my feelings or something. You are all just users on a forum. i expected to get at least semi-decent responses. I for one love kids, and think you all can go and shove your hatefulness towards youth back up your asses where it belongs.

Family friends of ours who I’ve known all my life have 3 kids. I’ve watched them all grow up. From an early age all of them have watched stuff like Lord of the Rings and Die Hard and played video games (not really violent ones, but some M rated ones) and they’ve turned out fine. They are all rather mature for their age so they understood that what they were witnessing was just a movie or just a game. Sometimes the ratings don’t work in a black and white way.

I actually love kids… every opportunity that I can, I give kids at my workplace stickers (I work at a grocery store BTW). The not playing violent videogames in front of my kid brother thing is really something our parents put up so I dont play games that could potentially give him nightmares in front of him… out of the 29 games I have purchased on Steam, only about two are even remotely kid-friendly…

I have a little sister who is 12 years younger than me (she’s 7) and I think kids are the most annoying thing to live with, I don’t want to have kids and I hope I don’t change my mind.
