Electronica most definetly isn’t a genre. Why some people go around calling it that is past me. It’s a term used to describe electronic music. It’s like saying guitar music is a genre.

Very nice sound there. i love glitchy drumkits and this was YouTube’s first result in my search. i don’t consider electronica a genre, really. i DO consider it an original sound though. The same as you would say most American country music sound similar…

On a side note, DeviantART is only what you make of it. Like the internet, if you avoid clicking on every damn link and found yourself a safe corner, associate yourself with a close group of artists and generally mind your business, you won’t find all the catgirls, bondage photography and emo prose.
